I grew up in Melbourne and for a number of years in Dubai. I've been making videos and music from quite a young age, and began directing short films while studying a Bachelor of Arts (film/tv major) at Monash University. In 2014 I was awarded the Best Director prize at the 48 Hour Film Project, Melbourne for my short film "Deprived"
That same year; I was hired to record the sound for a few days on a short film which ended up turning into the feature film "The Legend of Ben Hall" which really awoke my passion for professional sound recording. Since that production I've gone on to work on 9 feature length films, 3 television series, over fifty short films and countless commercial/corporate video productions, as a sound recordist or boom operator.
I take pride in my gear and have built a reputation for my efficiency, my passion and my versatility. I've been slowly building my gear list and have amassed an arsenal of sound equipment to suit any situation.
My job has taken me to some very interesting places over the years, and I've very much enjoyed travelling for work. My favourite of them all was Hobart, Tasmania; a city I called home for 5 years. I've since moved back to Melbourne, Australia.
Proudly self represented.
When I'm not working you'll find me playing bass guitar or soldering cables.
